The Mod:

Extend the radiator overflow pipe.

What it does:

The stock radiator overflow pipe aims directly at the engine pulley system. When antifreeze shoots out of the pipe it ends up hitting the pulley and engine block. This modification runs the overflow pipe down below the radiator.

You can see on the top of the radiator recovery bottle there is a plastic pipe that is aiming directly at the pulleys:
